Behavior
Music involvement can be used as a proactive strategy for individuals who display
interfering behaviors in the educational or home environment, yet are highly motivated
by music. Consultation to staff and parents is another avenue to demonstrate the
use of music as an effective reward, contingency, transition aid, or calming agent.
